Anderson Lloyd House is a six storey commercial building located in the heart of Christchurch's CBD, providing approximately 5,000m² of office and retail space. Completed as part of the city's post earthquake rebuild, the project has become a well recognised feature within the central city.
The design sought to create a contemporary and enduring commercial building that would sit confidently within Christchurch's evolving urban landscape. Clean lines, strong geometric forms and carefully considered proportions combine to create a building that is both distinctive and timeless in its expression.

These architectural moves help to break down the scale of the building and create a more engaging relationship with the surrounding streetscape.
A strong emphasis was placed on creating flexible, light filled workspaces that promote occupant wellbeing and adaptability over time. Resilience and performance were key drivers throughout the design process, resulting in a building that balances architectural expression with practical functionality.
